I found this thread in the linksys forums, and am trying to get the driver that someone has created.
Linkays the steps below to adaptot the drivers: It indicates the issue with network drivers, i suggest you to update the drivers and check if it works. The compatibility mode that I chose was Windows XP SP2, but I was not able to get past the "connect your device" screen in the installation process.

Interestingly enough, Windows 7 does correctly identify the device in the device manager, so I think it knows what product it is, but for whatever reason does not have the correct driver and cannot initiate the device, thus giving the error code. This is my educated guess for what it is worth, I see that it is being recognized just not getting past something blocking it. Unfortunately in your case it's going to be up to the hardware manufacturer to provide them, and this just may not wirsless-g.
I ask because you haven't said if you installed it or not.
